Cabbage Key and Restaurant Tour

cabbage key resort, cabins, restaurant, beachesCabbage Key sits in the intercostal waters of Pine Island Sound south of Englewood, Florida and very near to Cayo Costa State Park. This one hundred acre under-developed island paradise can only be reached by boat or seaplane and has no cars, paved roads, swimming pools, tennis courts or golf courses on it. Here you have six rooms to choose from or you may opt for one of seven cottages. The restaurant was made famous by Jimmy Buffet and his song "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and the walls are completely adorned with dollar bills past patrons have signed and left behind   There are few places left in Florida that can combine the laid back atmosphere, history and an air of yesterday’s solitude like Cabbage Key.
